The Hive Early Learning Centre is a childcare and kindergarten located near Fairfield Park, Northland Shopping Centre, and schools such as Fairfield Primary School. We provide high-quality early education in a caring and supportive setting.

My name is Vanessa, it’s my pleasure to be part of the growing community with so many wonderful developments that surround us.
The Hive Fairfield is situated amongst a dynamic and yet unique community. And with that, a team of educators who treasure every moment of a child’s life while being a part of that beautiful journey.
My experience in childcare and, in general ‘education’ at all levels (from infant to adults), the passion to work with children, educators, teachers, and families continues to keep me inspired because while every day challenges are inevitable, so are the opportunities that allow us all to make a difference in the lives of the children who are in our care.
I am confident that on behalf of the team, educators, teachers, and other staff including our extended Management team who frequents the Centre from time to time, will endeavour to work collaboratively to make a difference in the lives of amazing, and unique children we have at the Hive Fairfield.

We moved our son to the Hive Fairfield in July last year and have had a wonderful experience ever since. Vanessa and the team has been incredibly supportive, encouraging, and genuinely caring. They create such a welcoming, family-oriented environment where children and parents feel comfortable and valued. The Hive Fairfield has been such a great place for my child. The care, attention, and genuine warmth shown by the director, Vanessa, and the educators made it clear from the start that my child was in a loving and supportive environment where they could truly thrive. My child has also been enjoying the delicious, in-house prepared meals every day, and we love receiving the daily photos and updates that keep us connected with their experiences. Every day when I pick them up, they’re full of smiles—and sometimes don’t even want to leave! It’s clear they feel safe, happy, and confident. Even after moving up to the next classroom, they’ve continued to feel just as comfortable, excited, and enthusiastic about going to daycare, which really speaks to the consistency and dedication of the entire team. I’m so thankful for this incredible team who go above and beyond every day to nurture and support my little one. I couldn’t recommend The Hive Fairfield more highly to any parent.
Friendly caring staff who always meet us with a smile. Our oldest has been attending since he was 1 & is now in 4yr old kinder, we have never had any problems with the centre. Our youngest is in nursery 2 & they always have engaging activities for them.
We are very fortunate to get out elder son enroll to Hive 3 year Kinder program. My son has learnt a lot by being in the kinder and we clearly see a great progress of his social skills development. Also we are thankful to all the educators and staff for taking much care of son.. We are planning to enroll our son to 4 year kinder program at Hive too. we wish all the best with all the future activities .
The Hive has done so much for my daughter’s growth and the teachers and support team are wonderful offering great support. Even more the design of spaces and natural light clearly enhance their experience, activities and interaction with the environment
I was initially apprehensive about placing my son, Gabriel, into any form of childcare. However, my concerns quickly dissipated thanks to the exceptional care and warmth provided by the educators at The Hive, particularly Vanessa. From the very first day, I could see that Gabriel was not only receiving the attention and reassurance he needed but also thriving in a loving environment. Every time I pick him up, he is bright, bubbly, and excited about his time spent at The Hive. It’s clear that he feels safe, happy, and eager to return each day. I am thrilled with the experience my niece has had at the hive early learning center fairfield From day one, the center director vanessa has been incredibly welcoming and attentive. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to foster both educational growth and social development. My niece has not only learned foundational skills but also grown in confidence and curiosity. We’ve had a consistently positive experience with the Hive ELC. The director, Vanessa, is clearly a seasoned professional and herself a parent. Her patience and empathy is boundless and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend the Hive ELC in Fairfield.
My children moved to the Hive early this year from another centre. The team at The Hive made them both feel so welcome and comfortable during the orientation period, which made for a calm and smooth transition (for us and the kids!).
We’ve been very happy with The Hive Fairfield and would recommend it to families in the area. We started our eleven-month old in their Nursery 1 room in 2023 and haven’t had any issues since. Communication is clear and regular, from standard daily updates (food, sleep, nappies, photos), weekly room activity plans, day summaries, to individual child care plans/learning summaries, centre updates and weekly fee invoices. In addition, Vanessa and Lyn are very approachable and happy to answer questions and clarify concerns. Room activities are varied and the educators lovely and engaging. Despite moving into older rooms, past educators will always say hello and remain engaging with our toddler. We will happily be staying at The Hive for the remainder of our time in the pre-school care and education system.
The Hive ELC in Fairfield is the best decision we have made for our daughter. The property has large, bright, open spaces. The outdoor areas are lovely and green. The educators are extremely attentive to the children, provide a safe space for learning and fun, and all the children love them. The care they have for our daughter is like she’s their own. Our daughter loves going there every day and seeing her development over the year has been phenomenal. Daily activities are varied, providing interest for the babies, are well thought out, and we just love seeing photos of what she’s up to each day. I honestly could not recommend a daycare more. I fully entrust in their genuine care and support for our daughter. Thank you Vanessa, and all the educators in Nursery 1 and 2!
Our children have been going to the hive Fairfield for over a year now. They love it. It’s such a caring environment, the staff are so thoughtful and provide a fun, engaging, energetic and supportive environment for them. It means a lot to me to know that when I pick them up they’ll be smiling and happy. There is excellent communication from the staff and the team have always been really accommodating for requests and changes I’ve needed to make to the kids days there.
Both our kids have attended The Hive since 2020. The educators are so lovely and attentive. They do a wide variety of activities and creative play. What a wonderful community!
The Hive is amazing. The staff are wonderful and I trust them implicitly with our little girl who has been attending since before she turned one. It may not look as glitzy as some of the other ELC’s I the area but it is really all about the staff and their care for the kids. Highly recommend
I highly recommend the hive early learning centres in Fairfield. New facilities and clean environment for my daughter to learn and play. There are always fun activities for her and she always having a great time. Most importantly, the educators are friendly and take good care of the children.
Hive Fairfield can’t recommend them enough . The staff are so caring, friendly and help me with tough situations when my child doesn’t want to leave me making her feel safe and happy. When I pick my child up she always states she’s had the best time. The facilities are 5 star with many learning opportunities for children.
