Hi, my name is Tash and I am the Centre manager of The Hive Early learning Centre in Brighton. Originally from Mackay in QLD, I relocated to Bayside Melbourne 11 years ago. I feel a sense of community and connection to Brighton and its surrounding suburbs.
I have 17 years’ experience in early learning. I am passionate about producing best outcomes for children, providing safe and inclusive environments where everyone feels welcome. I feel that supporting families and the team creates a sense of security and a safe space for children to explore and reach their full potential.
In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, camping, fishing and spending time with my two children. I am also a Joey Scout Leader and love that I can give back to the community and the next generation by teaching them appreciation of the outdoors and nature.

I highly recommend LS Brighton to parents looking in the area, the caregivers do a wonderful job. My daughter has been attending for 6 months and has grown in confidence, she smiles when we walk in the door. My son has been at The Learning Sanctuary Brighton since April last year. Best decision we made with putting him into this beautiful childcare. As a first time mum I was overwhelmed but the staff made us feel important and they cared for our son but also cared about the parents too. A massive thank you to Tracey who is always welcoming and saying hello and asking how our weekend was when dropping our son off to childcare each morning. She would respond to emails, calls or even if I had any questions she would respond back to us straight away. She has a positive attitude. My sons teachers Jas and Patty thank you. They are wonderful with him. He gets excited when he sees them. This makes me happy knowing he is in good hands. Being a first time mum it can be very overwhelming putting your child into childcare and wanting to make sure your child is in the best of hands. I feel that with The Learning Sanctuary Brighton and I highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you all the staff at The Learning Sanctuary in Brighton. You are all amazing.

After visiting what seems like every daycare in the area our decision to send our son here was an easy one. The facilities and team are incredible and it didn't take long before he couldn't wait to be dropped off to play with his friends.
My baby has been attending the centre since February and has adjusted well with the caring nursery educators. The centre is clean and the food is prepared on site by a chef which we have appreciated.

We absolutely love TLS Brighton and so does our son. The centre is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The quality of the educators is excellent and our son has built wonderful bonds with all his educators. It’s easy to see how much they genuinely care for the children’s wellbeing and development. Even after 15 months of our son attending, we still continue to be impressed with the level of support and care taken into the program and activities. Thank you for all that you do team, it is so appreciated!

The Learning Sanctuary Brighton is such a wonderful childcare for our children 3 years and 1 year of age. We absolutely love it. The educators are so attentive (with their constant updates of our children's daily needs met through the app) and they're very caring. They include daily photos of my children too. Which puts my mind at ease to see that they're well cared for and taught a variety of different things. I love how the children can join in with the cooking with chef Mario on different occasions. There are steps leading up to the counter top which is fantastic and very inclusive which encourages a love for cooking. I love the Learning Sanctuary Brighton. It's the best place to send my children!
Such a wonderful clean and bright facility. Lots of positive changes from when we were there a couple of years ago, e.g. the carer ration appears to have increased. Love the current centre manager - Kayla. We are in the Kindergarten room and Rosemary, Mikayla and others have been so attentive and caring to our little one who has difficulty settling in every day!! Lots of individual attention. Thank you so much.
Wonderful centre, very clean and with a lot of space for the Kids to play and learn. My daughter loves her carer MarÃa and she loves going to childcare. Also very nice food by the Chef!

My son has been so a few centres, but when it comes to The Learning Sanctury...just WOW! No other day care centre compares. They have set the bar extremely high thanks to their new and up to date facilities, the amazing teachers and staff, the way they communicate with parents and how they structure our children's day (eg, yoga for mindfulness, or cooking class with Mario!). Special thanks to Rosemari who is by far one of the best child educators i have ever come across and Mel who has been so supportive and caring through a bumpy 2020. Keep being amazing and we will miss you next year. Love C and c. xx
This is the nest daycare we found in this area. Easy access, perfect facility and health chef cooked food for the kids. They have high quality staff that are bilingual, really helped our kids settle in and continue their learning from home. Happy and nurturing place for the kids to be.
Wow - What a wonderful facility. You can tell how much the educators love and adore each child, so clearly passionate about their jobs. The young lady at reception, Naydene has been so helpful and accommodating to my families needs. We can not wait to start here later on in the year.
Fantastic centre, love the staff, all the activities and Mario cooks the kids amazing food. This is our second Learning Sanctuary experience and we have loved both (only changed centres because we moved houses). Highly recommend this centre for child care!

A fantastic day care centre. I always get regular updates about my 10 month old along with pictures of her partaking in different activities. The centre is clean, modern and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Absolutely incredible facility. The two managers at reception were very friendly and accommodating. All the staff were extremely cheerful when doing the tour with my wife which was refreshing to see - they all really seemed to genuinely care about the children in their care and the visitors.
We love The Learning Sanctuary family. Our son has attended the Ashwood centre and now that we have moved we relocated him to Brighton. The educators and staff are amazing and so loving with our son. We could not have asked for an easier, smoother transition and the level of care he gets is exceptional. He loves going to child care and it makes drop off time stress free. The Learning Sanctuary in Brighton is fantastic. A brand new purpose built facility, with staff and educators that are focused on developing and delivering programs to help little ones minds grow. From the first day - our 3.5 yr old has been infinitely more engaged than his previous centre: - enjoying the expansive inside/outside spaces - loving the other facilities like the very thoughtful toddlers kitchen bench where they help the chef prepare and bake food - dedicated arts and crafts rooms - daily incursions from yoga teacher/musician etc to help nurture their creative skills Very happy we made the move - and look forward to to seeing the little one develop even further under amazing nurturing conditions
